1. Book Cover Doesn’t Look Right
When you create and upload a book cover for Amazon’s Kindle, there are two main considerations:
• Is it large enough to ensure a crisp, clean appearance when seen on a large reading device, not pixelated as in the above?
• Is it designed in a way that as a thumbnail the title can be easily read?
I’ve found that the ideal size for a Kindle book cover is 1125 pixels wide by 1800 pixels long, or 15.625 inches by 25 inches. Amazon will automatically shrink this size for your thumbnail, so no worries there. On the title, depending on its length, it can take up as much as 25% to 50% of the cover.
