5. Images Within Kindle Have a Black Line
An odd, yet common error when you publish your own book on Kindle as demonstrated by a graphic taken from “Keeping My Balance”. The good news is the fix is simple. The bad news is it can be time consuming if you have lots of images in your book. The issue of the black line on the image is due to the use of a PNG (portable networks graphic file) in the book. A better choice is the standard jpeg for all images inside a book.
